This was sent to me by a friend in Sweden

On the last day of senior high school in Moscow this year - that is the last day of Year 12 - "all" alcohol sales, for everyone in the city, were banned from 12 noon of 25/5/10 until 12 noon the next day. No joke!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Do you think that they might have a drinking problem in Russia at the moment???

  1. Sir, as a Modern History teacher, you of all people should know that Russia's had a drinking problem since 1917! No, but seriously, the Kremlin says that Russians drink 18 litres of alcohol per person, per year. And the Kremlin's notorious for some shifty things with stats...So the last days of school for Russian city-dwellers constitutes wearing 'abridged' versions of the old USSR school uniforms or semi-formal attire and running around in Russia's many many fountains whilst intoxicated. It usually gets quite MA15+ rated...

In the end, this is the result.
