What's for lunch in Bulgaria?

My lunch, not the lunch of 5 people, and not surprisingly I didn't finish it! lol

The pita bread in the middle was hot and had hot melted cheese and garlic in it. Wow!!!

  8. In a place where you cannot even read the signs such "minders" are essential for old people like me! lol

  14. Alas, it is no place for a vegetarian. Haha. Still, the food looks amazing. I hope you're eating a lot of potatoes. I'm also hoping that you're going out of your way to put on your Bulgarian accent to impress your "minders". :D

  15. There are hardly any potatoes Gaby! Crazy I know!!! lol Actually, the food is like a mixture of Balkan and Greek - lots of roasted meats with big fresh Greek style salads. Very yummm! And no, my "excellent" Bulgarian accent has not been heard by anyone here at all. I don't think that Bulgarians are renowned for their sparking sense of humour in such matters. lol
